Proving Suction
We have removed the pin and had the patient step into the socket, and obtained suspension. There is a modest amount of suction to suspend the socket, which then makes the pin the back up suspension
We have removed the valve body on the lock allowing air into the bottom of the socket but the lock plate is still holding the pin securely in place.
The patient gives his feedback of how the socket feels without suction.
