Methods for Total Contact in the Distal End of the Socket
These distal cushions are ideal for test socket or demo fitting but a custom distal cushion is highly recommended for definitive sockets.
The Connect has a Custom Distal Injection Tool available.
Fabricate the socket to completion such that it is ready to be fit on the patient.
Coyote Distal Cushion for the Connect can be used in place of injecting a Custom Distal Cushion or Flexible Inner Liner for test sockets or definitive sockets.
It is highly recommended that you use our Distal Cushion, a Custom Distal Pad, or a flexible inner liner.
Place the Distal Cushion or pad or flexible inner liner on top of the puck and filter disk.
Distal Injection Tool
The Connect Distal Injection Tool. Tool is used to create a custom silicone distal pad for the Coyote Connect.
