Methods for Total Contact in the Distal End of the Socket
These distal cushions are ideal for test socket or demo fitting but a custom distal cushion is highly recommended for definitive sockets.
The Connect has a Custom Distal Injection Tool available.
Fabricate the socket to completion such that it is ready to be fit on the patient.
C55DC | Coyote Distal Cushion for the Connect can be used in place of injecting a Custom Distal Cushion or Flexible Inner Liner for test sockets or definitive sockets.
It is highly recommended that you use our Distal Cushion, a Custom Distal Pad, or a flexible inner liner.
Place the Distal Cushion or pad or flexible inner liner on top of the puck and filter disk.
