Tested to IP28 (3 meters of water for up to 4 hours).

All new SmartPucks sold after July 1st, 2025 will be IP28 waterproof. Look for the IP28 designation engraved on the top of the Smartpuck. All Smartpucks without the IP28 designation are not waterproof. Smartpucks sold before July 1st, or without the IP28 designation, can be sent in for refurbishment, updating them to the new IP28 standard.

Methods for Total Contact in the Distal End of the Socket
These distal cushions are ideal for test socket or demo fitting but a custom distal cushion is highly recommended for definitive sockets.
For a Custom Distal Injection Tool refer to part number AP-100DI.
Fabricate the socket to completion such that it is ready to be fit on the patient.
Coyote Distal Cushion Set (P-54DC) can be used in place of injecting a Custom Distal Cushion or Flexible Inner Liner for test sockets or definitive sockets.
The Coyote Distal Cushion set is designed to be stackable or used singularly.
It is highly recommended that you use our Distal Cushions, a Custom Distal Pad or a flexible inner liner.
Place the Distal Cushion or pad or flexible inner liner on top of the puck and filter disk.
