This research explores the impact of GLP-1 medications on amputees, while drawing on insights from a multidisciplinary team of prosthetists, physicians, surgeons, and physical therapists. Treatment guidelines for prosthetic patient management and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal outcomes for this growing patient population will be discussed.
