Course Description
Advance your fabrication skills with two days of hands-on training at Coyote O&P in Boise, Idaho. Designed for orthotic and prosthetic technicians of all experience levels, this course combines expert instruction, facility tours, and practical lab sessions covering composite lamination, vacuum systems, AirLock suspension, digital fabrication, 3D printing, Dynamic Strut AFOs, and more. Leave with practical techniques, troubleshooting strategies, and new ideas you can put to work immediately.

Coyote Advanced Technician Training Course
COURSE SCHEDULE
Day 1 – Morning
Build a strong foundation in modern O&P fabrication by exploring materials, composite design, and the principles behind Coyote products. Learn how technician decisions impact patient outcomes, improve durability, and streamline fabrication.
Day 1 – Afternoon
Tour Coyote's manufacturing facility and participate in hands-on labs installing AirLock®, SmartPuck®, ZeroPuck®, and elevated vacuum systems. Finish the day by sharing fabrication techniques, troubleshooting tips, and innovative shop solutions with fellow technicians.
Day 2 – Morning
Gain practical experience fabricating a laminated Coyote Composite socket while learning reinforcement strategies, alignment techniques, socket design principles, and digital workflows, including CAD and 3D printing.
Day 2 – Afternoon
Explore Dynamic Strut AFO fabrication, current clinical trends, and advanced fabrication techniques before evaluating your laminated socket in a cutaway lab. Wrap up the course with key takeaways, discussion, and CEU certificate presentation.
Instruction for this course will be presented by Coyote's Clinical Education Director and Coyote's Central Fabrication Lab Manager.
