Coyote’s CFAB

If you like Coyote products and you like your modification methods you can send us a modified mold and we will fabricate using our products and fabrication methods.

If you want us to modify your mold please take our online courses at opqschool.com.  We will fabricate already modified transfemoral sockets.

If you are sending AFO’s please take “AFO Casting and Fabrication Methods.” If you will be sending prosthetics please take “StabileFlex Transtibial Socket Design.” Both courses are worth CE-credits.

By creating a consistent process we feel this will help make all of us more efficient and obtain more consistent results.

StabileFlex Transtibial Socket Design

StabileFlex Objectives

  • Design works with airtight pin systems, suction sockets and vacuum suspension systems.
  • Total contact with uneven pressure distribution.
  • Eliminates excessive patellar tendon pressure.
  • Uses a fiberglass casting technique to obtain a more consistent capture of the residual limb.
  • The design focuses on the medial tibial flat as the primary weight bearing area.
  • Improves rotational control.
  • Reduces anterior socket gapping.
  • Encourage quadriceps strengthening.
  • Reduces traction on end of limb.
  • Normalize gait.
  • Increase knee range of motion.

Coyote Dynamic Strut AFO

  •   You cast, our technicians fabricate.
  •   Comes in Rigid and Medium
  •   Vertically adjustable, replaceable strut.
  •   Responsive energy return
  •   It allows some tibial torsion for a more natural gait.

Our posterior dynamic strut combines the fit and comfort of a custom AFO with a posterior mounted dynamic strut for optimal ambulation.

Boise Bi-Valve AFO

  •   Alternative to the CROW boot
  •   The shorter version replaces the higher-maintenance Arizona leather gauntlet brace.
  •   Increased off-loading of the foot
  •  and ankle.
  •   Fits inside most orthopedic and
  •  walking shoes

Good for the treatment of a variety of pathologies including Charcot foot, PTTD, osteo arthritis, and protecting ankle fusions post-operatively.
